It is with great pleasure and honor that we announce that Resident Resources Network (RRN) recently received the distinction of becoming a Certified Organization for Resident Engagement & Services (CORES)! The CORES certification was established by the Stewards of Affordable Housing for the Future (SAHF), “a nonprofit collaborative of thirteen affordable housing providers who own nearly 150,000 rental homes.” It is awarded to organizations that have demonstrated exceptional commitment, capacity, and competency in connecting residents of affordable housing communities to supportive services. It also recognizes organizations’ investment in tools that support the implementation of a robust system of service coordination.
The CORES certification aligns well with RRN’s mission of connecting residents to resources that stabilize housing, increase self-sufficiency, and build supportive communities. We strive to ensure that the resident service coordination we provide is high-quality, person-centered, and effective at helping residents access resources that achieve the aims of our mission. The CORES certification helps to amplify our efforts and recognizes the value of providing high-quality service coordination. We are honored to be recognized as a CORES certified organization and look forward to partnering with SAHF to continue to demonstrate the promise and power of providing support services to residents of affordable housing communities.
