Spring Into Being Healthy; VRH Hosts 10th Annual Health Fair

On a brisk spring afternoon, residents of The Villages at Roll Hill made their way to the 10th Annual Spring Into Being Healthy Fair. Outside under tents, a multitude of agencies and sponsors provided residents with free hygiene bags, new summer clothes, boxes of face masks, hand sanitizer, Girl Scout cookies, and Subway lunches. Said Abdalla, a resident of Faith Village Apartments, has been awarded two academic scholarships. One scholarship, the Jack L. Wallick scholarship, was awarded by Wallick Communities. This scholarship is awarded yearly to several Wallick residents and provides up to $2,500 per school year, for up to four years, to help pay the cost of attending college or technical school.
